This site collects as little as it can. There are no accounts, no newsletter and nothing for sale here. This page explains the few places where information does change hands.
The contact form
When you send a message through the contact form, the name, email address, group name and message you type are sent to Formspree, a form-handling service, which forwards them to Eric by email. They are used only to reply to you. They are never sold, shared or added to a mailing list.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they read, and which buttons (such as “Buy the Book” or “Download the Guide”) they click. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device, browser and the pages you view. It does not tell us who you are. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Embedded media
Interview and trailer players on this site are embedded from YouTube, Podbean and Acast. When you play one, that service may collect information under its own privacy policy. The YouTube trailer uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode.
Fonts
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
